UPDATE: The Girl Scouts wish to thank all of the residences of Waterstone. The Girl Scouts collected almost 10,000 pounds of food which our troop between Waterstone and Sutton Place collected 943 pounds. The amount collected in total will help feed needy families for 6 days.

October 24 is National Make A Difference Day. It is the most encompassing national day of helping others. For the ninth year, Fort Mill and Tega Cay Girl Scouts will collect non-perishable food to benefit the Fort Mill Care Center. Please place your items in a bag at the end of your driveway by 9 AM on Saturday, October 24. Girl Scouts will pick up your donation and deliver it to the Fort Mill Care Center. Together we can make a difference! Rain or Shine!

York county has announced that as of Monday, April 20th, we are no longer in a stage 2 dought.  The text on the York County website is:

As of Monday, April 20, 2009, York County Water/Sewer is under voluntary water restrictions for a Stage 1 Drought.  For a complete list of recommendations, please click here.  Call 803.628.3211 with any questions. 

 The board of directors would like to urge Waterstone residents to read through the recommendations above and continue to conserve water.
